In Memoriam For Mitchell A. Kramer
Mitchell A. Kramer passed away on Jan. 15, 2021. Next to his family, his great love was the practice of law. He considered representing his clients to be an honor and appreciated the trust that his clients placed in him.
After graduating from Yale Law School and serving in Army Judge Advocate General and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Mitchell went into private practice, establishing his own firm. His career was highlighted by the series of antitrust litigation that he led against plywood and sugar corporations, as well as class action lawsuits that he helmed, recovering excess tax payments for over 10,000 taxpayers. He was instrumental in developing business arrangements and legal authority to protect commissioned sales representatives and distributors, and he took special pride in his role working with medical device distributors around the country.
Above all, Mitchell had a strong sense of right and wrong and always believed he should use the law to fight for what is fair.
